Founded in 1997 on the initiative of the VAUCLUSE (Union des industries et des métiers de la métiers de la Métallurgie), CFAI 84 trains young people from 16 to 25 years of age in the industry. Thus, within 4 250 m 2 of premises (including 2 000 m 2 dedicated to workshops) in the centre of Technopôle's Technopole, students are attending courses specialized in electrical engineering, mechanics, design, industrial computing, automation and sales of technical products. CFAI 84 offers state-recognised diplomas (BTS Industrial Maintenance, BTS Industrial Products Design…) or, since 2001, by CNAM (Engineer Engineering Industry).
