BANQUE ALIMENTAIRE DE VAUCLUSE
Created in 1996 under the leadership of its first president, Roger Carpentier, the Vaucluse Food Bank seeks to help the poorest in order to combat malnutrition or malnutrition. It collects, manages and shares food free of charge. For example, it is sourcing from producers, food industry, large distribution, the European Union (European Programme of aid to the most deprived countries fed by intervention stocks), the state and the general public (collection of non-perishable foodstuffs in large areas, particularly the last weekend of November). Redistribution is carried out through local associations, solidarity stores and accommodation centres.
