MEDIATHÈQUE JEAN-LOUIS-BARRAULT
No one calls this large block of concrete that is somewhat outdated by its real name, Jean-Louis Barrault, everyone preferring him the affectionate nickname or practical nickname (at the choice) of "Médiathèque de La Rocade". Welcome, therefore in this 1 500 m 2 house that puts colour and culture on the southern ring road and where it is possible to consult 30 000 books (novels, bd, documentaries…) for adults on the first floor and 20 000 for children on the second floor. Readers can also consult on-site newspapers, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias and documentaries on all subjects. Seven computer stations are located in a multimedia room: two for catalog consultation, three for viewing cds and a selection of sites and two allow web access. Please note that school classes and groups are welcome by appointment.
