Built in 1880 in the neo-Renaissance style, the town hall stands out for its size. See the trompe-l'œil ceiling
Built in neo-Renaissance style from 1880, the Town Hall is imposing in its dimensions. Its first-floor ceiling is in trompe-l'oeil. To keep with the artifice, take a look at the facade opposite the town hall, where the upper floors are uninhabitable, built as a theatrical set to balance the volumes! Bollène-born sculptor Félix Charpentier (1858 - 1924) is credited with the marble group Les Lutteurs opposite the town hall. Louis Pasteur has his own statue, at the beginning of the avenue of the same name, for having studied the region's epizootics.
