An apparent stone building located at the bottom of the village, just before the botanical trail, and which blends beautifully with the landscape of the caladées streets. It is small but the terrace… it's Mount Ventoux! Vegetarian or vegan plates are eaten. You take the aperitif by turning a book. Yes, it is also a bookshop with a sharp selection of books on the Ventoux. And you let yourself be wrapped up by the grandiose landscape by listening to the concert. Can we dream better? Like what, small village, small coffee, but great ideas!

Pour réserver pour le samedi 29 août, je téléphone le 22 août au matin : répondeur "appeler après 17 h". Je rappelle après 17 h : répondeur "appeler demain matin". Je rappelle le 23 au matin, un dame me répond. Je lui dis que je veux réserver pour le 29. Elle me dit qu'elle n'est pas au courant des réservations et me demande de rappeler le lendemain matin. Je rappelle le 24 au matin et enfin une dame note ma réservation. Je veux lui laisser avec mon nom, mon numéro de téléphone portable. Elle refuse. Le samedi 29 août à 13 h nous arrivons avec mes amis au restaurant. Il semble fermé. Un monsieur sort sur la terrasse et il me confirme que le restaurant est fermé. Impossible de voir la Direction. Ce monsieur est le gendre, il n'est au courant de rien. Certes. Mais sa belle mère aurait pu accepter que je lui donne mon tél pour me prévenir car cela semble habituel que le resto soit fermé le we par décision subite de la direction. (we précédent, répondeur) et au minimum elle aurait pu sortir pour présenter des excuses plutôt que d'envoyer le gendre au front.
Déjà difficile à joindre, répondeur, puis une personne incapable de renseigner, incorrection totale de la part de la direction, restaurant à éviter.
Heureusement nous avons été à l'Auberge, superbe ! Nous y retournerons. Allez tous à l'Auberge et évitez la Poterne.

une vue fabuleuse sur cette face inconnue du mont Ventoux. Un lieu original avec une cuisine simple de bon goût et principalement végétarienne. Un conseil pensez à réserver :) en désert pas d'hésitation le moelleux à la châtaigne et juste trop bon.
Personnellement j'y vais régulièrement et jamais déçus. Merci à Pascale pour sa gentillesse, pour son accueil et pour sa cuisine.

The landscape seen from the terrace is exceptional. For the rest it is very disappointing, you can not talk about cuisine.

Conquered by setting, the simple ambiance, warm, a bit disturbing (the owner is on leave). A friendly cuisine including service, a place that has desire for keeping to yourself but it would be the house. You would like to spend the evening, to tomorrow while book in advance faultless but the road leads us already other horizons, we will return.
