Belfry was used as a communal house and a watchtower
Built in 1562, it served both as a town hall (in the left wing until 1926) and as a watchtower, particularly during the sinister wars of religion. The inhabitants complained that they could not hear the bell, so this round tower was raised in 1783 and an elegant campanile, forged by the locksmith of Caromb, was added. The lower part was used as a prison, while in the right wing were the communal oil mills. Also worth seeing are the Romanesque church of St Maurice from the 14th century, the museum of old winegrowers' tools and the fountains.
