SAINT SIFFREIN CATHEDRAL
Cathedral of Saint-Siffrein in Carpentras, housing a set of statues due to the genius of the Comtadin sculptor Jacques Bernus.
This beautiful building takes its name from the city's patron saint, a 7th century bishop. Built in the 16th century, the cathedral is full of contrasts. The exterior is a care for the simplicity of the lines and the blond of the stone while inside, rich baroque decorations can be guessed in the half-light of the chapels, paintings by Mignard, Parrocel, Duplessis, a primitive of the school of Avignon and above all, a set of golden statues, due to the genius of the Comtadin sculptor Jacques Bernus.

J'y ai fait une halte fraîcheur hier, dehors il faisait 37°. Je vous la conseille vivement par cette canicule.
