Guided tours of the Porte d'Orange, a vestige offering a unique view of the Comtadine plain.
In the 16th century, with the Hundred Years' War looming, the Pope ordered the town to raise its ramparts. These included thirty-two towers and four fortified gates, the most imposing of which was the Porte d'Orange. It was spared during the demolitions of the 19th century. Deprived of its ravelin (half-moon), it is open in tiers-point in a 26 m-high tower. Staircases glued to the walls served the upper floors and the wooden-floor platform. Guided tours offer a unique view of the Comtadine plain.
