The Wine Growers Brotherhood of Côtes du Ventoux is in line with the tradition which persisted from the 15th to 19th centuries in many communes of the appellation. On June 2,1982, a handful of people gathered by the love of wine and land decided to revive under the flag struck by the Poudadouïre all these old brotherhoods. The first chapter was held in Carpentras on May 30,1983. For the first time, the sumptuous green colors of the members of the Grand Council appeared, preceded by the heralds of the Brotherhood. After having occupied the Château Durbesson for many years, the AOC Ventoux wine union has settled here since 2011. In summer, various events take place there (in partnership with the tourist office) as part of a mini-market where producers come to sell their products.
