Church with beautifully made stained glass windows, a statue of Saint Peter of Luxembourg, a pulpit made of Velleron stone...
Certainly constructed before 1155, this Romanesque church was fortified. From this period, only the arched spans have remained. However, the curiosity of this church does not lie in its architecture but in a rather particular custom. Imagine that until the 18th century, the villagers could choose to be buried in the church. It was an astonishing way for the cure to receive little more subsidies. Therefore, the slabs cover a true cemetery. Outside, it housed a defensive tower with loopholes. Its numerous extensions were not used for a great harmony of style. Stop on the stained-glass windows by beautiful light, the statue of saint Pierre of Luxembourg and a Velleron stone pulpit.
