Church whose central stained glass window in the choir represents, among others, St. George and St. Denis, patrons of the parish
The church is said to have been built by Charlemagne to celebrate his victory over the Saracens. Over the centuries side chapels, a new west entrance porch, a new choir with walnut woodwork and stained glass windows were built and completed in 1869. The central stained glass window in the choir depicts, among others, St. George and St. Denis, patrons of the parish. To its left are St Alexander and St Anne who saved Courthézon from the plague. The organ, built by Théodore Puget in 1845, has eighteen stops. The instrument is classified by the MH.
