What an experience! Our visit to Chene Bleu landed on the first day of harvest which allowed us the opportunity to watch as vineyard hands hauled grapes into the winery to be sorted, pressed, and begin the fermentation process. Nicole and Marlene were incredibly gracious hosts leading us through tastings, blending sessions, and a tour of the property that I’ll never forget. This was certainly one of the most magical experiences of my life.

My husband and I visited for a tour, tasting and picnic basket lunch in the garden. I was excited to see where my brother, Nick Dumergue, has been teaching on the excellent Extreme Wine course since 2008. Everything was perfect - from the moment you see the beautiful property on the approach road, to the moment we drove away from this little piece of paradise. We were hosted by Catherine who was an absolute joy. Charming, easy company and full of knowledge about the winery and the estate, that she shared with real passion, humour and energy. Her time with us really made our visit. After the tour and tasting of the excellent wines, we took a bottle of the Astralabe with us to have our picnic lunch in the peaceful vegetable garden. It was just us, in the serenity and we lingered over a tasty lunch with local produce. We bought some Rosé to take away so we can enjoy it with lunch another day on our holiday. If we weren’t flying back to the UK we would love to have bought more wine! Highly recommend this special place.

Made a reservation for a guided tour and tasting session . The location is simply amazing .As soon as we arrived at the domain we were in awe.. Our guide Jessica was very friendly , professional and a true ambassador for Chêne Bleu . We had the tour of the domain , wine production unit and cellar . The tasting session was a combination of rosé , white and red wine . Afterwards you can visit a little boutique and the possibility to purchase their wines . Thank you team Chêne Bleu , we have some business friends we will surely recommend your winery !

This is a wonderful small winery in Provence. You’ll definitely need a car to access if you are not staying nearby, but it was worth the drive!

We went on a Tuesday, so it was quiet and we were the only ones participating in a tasting, so got a very personalized experience. We were shown around the facilities and then completed a tasting of about 7 wines. The wines were delicious and all very unique. We had paid for the extended wine tasting (hence 7 wines) and lunch which was beautifully packed up for us in a basket. We picked a delicious bottle of rosé for lunch and our guide told us it would be wonderful to sit in their garden to eat. There was a beautifully shaded area with a table where we ate lunch. Food was fresh and delicious (and very healthy!). We sipped our rosé and took in the garden, wandering around to look at all the vegetables, herbs and fruit growing.

All in all, a lovely experience that was very relaxing/romantic.

Five star experience! I visited with 3 friends for my boyfriends birthday and we were all blown away by the incredible service, outstanding wine and food! We did the wine tasting first in the tasting room - you can tell the team really have a genuine passion for the wines. We then had the farm to fork lunch - which was the best meal we had on our 2 week trip in France! It was such great value too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough

Chêne Bleu is a wonderful visit, well worth the extra drive – you really feel like you’re in a little oasis. The wines are all excellent and handcrafted, which you can tell, and the tasting room has been beautifully designed with plenty of informative details like samples of the soil types on the property. Staff were very enthusiastic and generous with their time and knowledge. This gem is tucked out of the way but absolutely worth discovering!

Had such a lovely afternoon wine tasting. Unfortunately we didn’t make a booking, but they very kindly took us in anyway and showed us some lovely wines. Ended up buying 3 bottles! My only regret is not knowing you could book a night to stay overnight.

This is a stunning property! From the outstanding wines (check out their rosé – you won’t forget it!), topnotch winery and tasting room to the biodynamic, organically cultivated vineyards and the luxury stay at La Verrière - a selection of gorgeous rooms that overlook the storied courtyard or the infinity pool in a 9th century medieval priory – Chene Bleu is the place to stay on the border of the Southern Rhone and Provence. Family-owned and carrying some of the most joyful people on staff, this estate shines a bright light on hospitality, fresh and flavorful gourmet food selections and boutique wine production. It’s truly the postcard place you picture when you think of a holiday in Southern France.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Chene Bleu, a former monastery that has been loving and faithfully restored. It's a serene place removed from the hustle bustle and where you can truly feel the history of the place. Lovely hospitality--great attention to detail and warm, friendly service. I loved my room overlooking the yard with the birds chirping nearby. And, goes without saying, but the roses (wines, not flowers) are pure pleasure!

This place is clearly a labour of love and a genuine family affair. The majestic mountain setting leaves most Provençal vineyards in the shade and is unquestionably worth the (steep) detour from the main roads. A wonderful place to stay, eat, drink, or just be.

Prachtig wijnhuis midden in de bergen. Super vriendelijke mensen.

We came here for a wine tasting. Superb nature, the wines were good and the wine tasting was really educational. You can really see how passionate and knowledgeable the hostess was. Would definitely come again!

We had a lovely time tasting the delicious Chene Bleu wines yesterday afternoon. Particular shout out to the delightful lady who guided us through the various whites, reds and rose in a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We’ll be back!
