LE MAI DE SAINTE-TULLE
Go there and contact
Every year since 1720, the village has devoted a procession to St. Tulle, the village's patron, who put an end to the famous plague epidemic. At the beginning of the afternoon, men are looking for the largest poplar in the surrounding area, and then around 17 p. m. wearing it on a man's back through the village to the church, while a young recipient of the year, called the Enseigne, is sitting on astride. The May is blessed by the priest and drawn on the square while children in Provençal costumes dance and sing songs. The end of the evening is an opportunity to participate in animations that change every year.
