LA SOURCE DU MIRAIL
Go there and contact
Located at the foot of the Luberon mountains and bordered by a small river, the Mirail spring is accessible via a charming walk. This spring, which provided drinking water and fed the Etang de la Bonde, has been the object of covetousness since the Middle Ages, giving rise to numerous conflicts between the lords of the Vallée d'Aigues. Its historical importance dates back to the 15th century, when seigneur Fouquet d'Agoult undertook its development to supply the region. Today, the spring remains a magnificent witness to the past, preserved in its original state.
