Still for the visitor in search of history, know that at the exit of La Tour-d'Aigues, direction Pertuis a beautiful walk is offered to you to a convent. Take the small road on your left (the Tourel), cross the small bridge over the Eze and at the intersection turn left. Hidden behind a curtain of trees, the site of Tourel is full of history. The tower that can be seen is the only vestige of the castellet that is part of a seigniory. In 1478, Fouquet d'Agoult set up a convent of observantins there, which became a beautiful complex with church and cloister.
