THE EARTHENWARE MUSEUM
Museum presenting ceramics, porcelain, glazed earthenware, discovered during the excavations of the castle
The museum presents the ceramics -faïences, porcelains, glazed earthenware, pavement tiles- discovered during the excavations of the castle. Today, the museum has more than 2,000 inventoried pieces in its collections. Among them are the earthenware and porcelain acquired by the lords of the castle from the most prestigious French and foreign factories. One can also see the collection of typical Provencal figurines of Pierre Graille (1915-2014), employee of the Post Office in Grambois, earthenware maker, wood sculptor and santon maker.
