Cantine near its château serving pizza, pasta, hearty salad meals or brasserie fare with a wine list
It's not hard to imagine that the Marquis de Sade would have made it his canteen, just 2 steps from his château... What is certain is that it was the home of fashion designer Pierre Cardin, who bought and renovated the château in 2001. You can sit under the vaulted ceilings or on the terrace, in a cosy setting that's cozy in the evening, where you'll meet students from SCAD, Lacoste's American art school. There's plenty of atmosphere. Whether you're looking for pizza, pasta, hearty salads or brasserie fare, the plates are generous, the wine list Mediterranean and the service efficient.
