Notre-Dame-de-la-Purification church, a historic monument since 1990, shines with its wrought-iron bell tower.
Built between 1702 and 1710, Notre-Dame-de-la-Purification church - the sixth and, for the time being, last church built in Lauris - has been classified as a historic monument since 1990. On the façade, a Virgin and Child dating from 1854. Inside, a listed 19th century organ. But the most beautiful part of the building is its magnificent wrought iron bell tower, one of the most elaborate in the region. Built in 1857 by the Mousquet brothers (using drawings by the Aptesian architect and sculptor Soler), it houses the hemispherical bronze stamp.
