In 1984, Pierre Scherrer decided to raise llamas on his property in Le Barroux. The herd maintains 33 hectares of forests and meadows. La Ferme des Lamas offers you the opportunity to discover this mythical South American animal, to learn so many fascinating things about its very particular behaviour and about the work of its wool. You will also discover a weaving workshop. The idea is to use them to clear the forest and maintain the wasteland, which they do wonderfully. Groups and schools are welcome.
