THOUZON CAVE
Cave discovered by chance in 1902 during the exploitation of a quarry in La Thor
It is the visit to make during rainy or mistral days when you are with children! The cave was discovered by chance in 1902 during the quarry operation. It was nicknamed: "grotte des fées" (cave of fairies), undoubtedly for the enchantment that it exudes. It must be said that it has remained intact thanks to an immediate layout. So, be ready for a trip in a mineral world where the work of water left its mark. It is also, in Vaucluse, the only natural cave (13°) set up for tourism (horizontal gallery, easy access).
