Grilled meat and Corsican specialties in a nice setting with terrace in the heart of Lourmarin.

Located right in the heart of Lourmarin, Café de la Fontaine is there at any time of day to satisfy your appetite or just quench your thirst. The atmosphere is always festive, with the chef working on truffle raggatoni or a delicious rib-eye steak before your very eyes. We tried the tuna steak with Thai sauce, which was a delight. You can also indulge in Corsican specialties based on charcuterie, cheese and wine. The decor is totally 19th-century bistro. You can find privacy in the small upper room or enjoy the sunshine on the terrace.

Drinks were ok, the place has no nice ambiance and inside (toilet, kitchen) looks super dirty. The service was also not very trained and kept to a minimum… smile and a bit of service would have been nice

Options between very French or French versions on English/USA food. One of the nicest burgers I've had. Kids loved their meals. And good coffee.

Coup de cœur ♥️ pour ce resto niché en plein centre de Lourmarin. Les plats sont délicieux et généreux. Je recommande la Planche des amis où, ô surprise, on découvre de goûteuses spécialités corses (Figatelli, coppa, lonzo…), les profiteroles (généreux à souhait). Les serveurs sont aux petits soins, très prévenants, souriants. Mention spéciale pour Mathieu et Naouri ????
