Chapel made up of two adjoining buildings from the 12th century, with a picnic area in Malaucène
Classified as a Historic Monument, the Notre-Dame-du-Groseau Chapel is made up of two adjoining buildings from the 12th century: the Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Notre-Dame chapels, both with richly carved decoration. Ancient blocks decorated with reliefs, used as replacements, bear witness to the very ancient occupation of the site. In the 14th century, the complex was at the heart of a palace where Pope Clement V liked to stay. A picnic area has been set up there.
