A magnificent and imposing building of character, it houses an organ with a gilded wooden case and a fully carved pulpit
A building of character, imposing and magnificent, it is attributed to Pope Clement V. It completed the defence system of the ramparts, hence its fortified appearance. Its Romanesque and Gothic style blends with a Renaissance choir, testifying to its different periods of construction. Inside, there is an organ with a gilded wooden case (1639), admirably restored, and an entirely carved pulpit. Outside, a curious stone bench, certainly the longest in France, measures 41.77 m.
