Chapel to protect the living and the dead, located in the cemetery in Mazan
Remains from the 11th and 12th centuries, half-buried by the weight of the centuries. There is a legend that wolves used to attack the cemetery. The Pareloup chapel was built to protect the living and the dead. It is located in the cemetery, the surrounding wall of the cemetery is largely made up of a set of Merovingian sarcophagi (5th century) brought back in the 19th century. These solid limestone tombs are decorated with sober sculptures.
