Monteux hosts the world championship of model making. Nearly 80 participants compete on the track of 317 m. The grand prize pays tribute to the memory of Jean Nougier, the "genius of mechanics" who has won several titles of champion of France in motorbike and a title of champion of Europe. Eric Nougier gave the name of his grandfather to the grand prize but also to his international model-making circuit set in Monteux since 1999, next to the karting. The tour includes a flying school and a track for buggy.
