L'OPPIDUM
Guest house with a terrace and a private sauna in Oppède.
This house is really for those who want to spend a night in a village where there are no neighbors except the excellent restaurant which is right next door. It's like spending a night in the Middle Ages. The room "Le Soleillan" has a terrace overlooking the castle and the church Notre-Dame-d'Alibon, and a private sauna. The second is a duplex that can accommodate up to four people. There is a small oven that was once used to bake bread. The decor is simple and colorful but if you are there, it is because you enjoy the timeless places. The house was that of the German painter Franz Priking just after the war. But the house has been there for centuries since the vaulted hall dates back to the 15th century.
