NOTRE-DAME-DE-NAZARETH CATHEDRAL
Cathedral consecrated on October 26, 1208 to Our Lady of Nazareth, in the presence of Prince William des Baux
Until the Revolution, it will be the cathedral of Orange. Consecrated on October 26, 1208 to Notre Dame de Nazareth, in the presence of Prince Guillaume des Baux, it was redesigned several times over the centuries. Very discreet, it opens onto the Place Clemenceau through a 12th century portal, modified in the 17th century. Its southern portal is characteristic of the Romanesque-Provençal art. The central nave and four chapels are currently being restored.
