THE MUSEUM OF ART AND HISTORY
This museum is found in the mansion of Georges Van Cuyl dating back to the 17th century. It tells the history of the city til the 19th century. The Gallo-Roman section contains exceptional documents including three Roman cadastre engraved on marble. On the first floor, visitors could discover painted canvas of the 18th century, which illustrates the various stages of Indian printings of Wetter factory in 1757. The top floor is always dedicated to the works of Albert de Belleroche and Frank Brangwyn, known for its decorations like The House of Lords (Westminster palace) in London and the Rockefeller Centre in New York.
