OLD SCHOOL MUSEUM
Museum with old books, oak desks and white earthenware inkwells.
The school was set up on the first floor of a town hall in 1930 in the hamlet of the Valayans. It is the work of the rural heritage association in the Valayans. All objects, ranging from 1880 to 1950, were donated by the inhabitants of Pernes, hence this particular emotion during each visit. Some of them have memories with old books, oak desks with white tiled encriers with purple ink that tachait fingers, pen and pen sergeant-major (for full and slay), the master's office and his geography cards, the time costume… and even a martinet! A good opportunity to distribute certificate of studies, good points, pictures and donkey cap. A good old past, where it's nice to be able to share.
