La Maison des Bons Vivants lives up to its name. Gabriel and his team breathe enthusiasm into this friendly place, which is well worth a visit. The busy area where the restaurant is located isn't glamorous, but that's forgotten as soon as you step inside. The chef excels in the kitchen, revisiting brasserie dishes. Meats are perfectly cooked, and his cochonnailles, terrines, pâté en croûte and caillettes are made from scratch in his kitchen. Ditto for desserts. Attractive wine list.
