MAIRIE
Rustrel is a charming village located ten kilometers northeast of Apt, between the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse. Perched at an altitude of 400 meters, it offers a breathtaking view of the Apt basin. The village is crossed by the Doa, a tributary of the Calavon coming from Gignac. The land is planted with vines, olive trees, a few fruit trees, cereals and a little fodder. The must-see site in Rustrel is the Colorado Provençal. This exceptional site, with its colorful relief, has been shaped by man during the exploitation of ochre quarries, then modified by erosion. Rustrel town hall is located at the Château, rue du Château.
