MUSÉE MARCEAU CONSTANTIN
Museum of the painter Marceau Constantin, a native of Saint Christol.
Marceau Constantin, a child of the village, donated some of his works to the commune. The museum was created in 2009. He was the son of the village baker. Spotted for his drawings, he was taken in hand to learn about color. He moved to Paris, where he met the Ambrogiani brothers and perfected his art with Zadkine. In 1981, he returned home. It's a wonderful experience to be able to admire 200 works by this contemporary visual artist who dabbled in Cubism, Expressionism and even Abstraction.
