Unusual Land Art walks in the forest

Did you know that there are two Land Art sites in Vaucluse? In Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux and Savoillans, two villages nestled in the heart of the Toulourenc Valley, not far from the gorges. Eventually, the two hamlets will be linked. Their works, created by man in perfect alliance with nature, can be visited freely, and live to the rhythm of the seasons in a hymn to evolution and life. Follow me on this little hike into the forest..

We approach from the north. After the vineyards, the road winds along the combe, between valleys and the oak-lined foothills of the Ventoux. What landscapes! What panoramic views! This crossing immerses us in these natural spaces, leading us to imagine the flora and fauna, until we reach the entrance to an immense clearing bathed in sunlight. Our eyes settle on a mandala garden and its colored pencils, before encountering: a vegetable garden, large totem poles, paper apples perched in the trees like nests...
At this moment, we can already feel the peaceful atmosphere and the magic of the place. We know we're going to linger here, hostage to our curiosity. Three paths, including one to the ridges, are available to discover this walking park and the spirit of the place through a treasure hunt and educational plaques. Head for the artistic circuit for a family stroll to discover the nuggets of the forest!

Every summer, the Jardin Singulier organizes lyric concerts in conjunction with the Avignon Opera. In 2021, workshops on connecting with nature will also enable us to explore the forest and nocturnal animal life thanks to a listening amplifier.

The motto of the place would be: "Alone we go faster, together we go further". Hence the creation of this unique garden with numerous partnerships: breeders, artists, botanists and lovers of botany, entomologists, young people... It's a place of communion between Nature and people from all walks of life
