The Vaucluse is the 1st department producing fine lavender. It also produces a lot of lavender. Since 1985, the lavender festival in Sault has become an essential day. From 10am lavender sickle cutting, Provençal folk groups, lavender-filled harnesses, then country lunch, closing show around 6pm followed by a popular ball as part of the votive festival. For your information it is also the last lavender of the season that you will be able to see.
