Visits to the churches and chapels located in Sault, including the Notre-Dame-de-la-Tour, with a bell tower dating from the early century.
A composite building, the church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Tour is classified as a Historic Monument. In the 12th century, it was a priory of Saint-André de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The Romanesque nave, consisting of three bays, is interesting with its barrel vault and high columns. It is a construction from the very beginning of the 13th century, fitted out with great care. Three radiating chapels opening onto the choir bay and the western portal, built in the 14th century, make up the highly developed Sanctuary. The bell tower dates from the beginning of the 17th century.
