PARK AND GARDEN OF THE CASTLE OF BRANTES
Florentine-inspired park with Anduze vases, terraces and a garden featuring mirror pools adorned with statuary at Sorgues.
Beyond the main gate and the pavilion's handsome facade lies a Florentine-inspired park with Anduze vases, boxwood designs and terraces. Enclosed by a pebble wall, the garden plays with carefully traced perspectives. It is organized around three mirror pools adorned with statuary, fed by one of the Sorgues rivers. They unfurl like a ribbon of water over a boxwood-edged lawn (the work of Danish landscape architect Mogens Tvede in 1959).
