This observatory is located a few kilometers north-west of Vaison-la-Romaine (not necessarily easy to find... from the D51, take the small road on the left - theoretically signposted - before the hamlet!) A dome has been installed for the moment, but other instruments for public use are planned. Public evenings... They are programmed according to the season, and their content is often very comprehensive: themed evenings (planets and deep sky, depending on the position of the stars at the time), planetarium sessions, constellation spotting with the help of trained animators, and observation of celestial objects through different types of instruments (binoculars, telescopes, astronomical telescopes). Of course, all these practical activities are complemented by more theoretical notions provided by the animators (this is also the time to ask any questions that may be on your mind).
