LA MAISON D'ANVERS
Guest house with rooms and suites with all comforts in a refined style
They are Belgian and they have this particular energy in the flat country which is theirs. When they found their paradise in this corner of the Vaucluse, they turned it into a guest house with a gourmet table on request, there is also the summer kitchen bistro where everything is prepared at the minute on the grill. The rooms and suites are cosy little nests with all the comforts in a refined style. The gite is very nice for a family with a functional kitchen, a living room where you can enjoy the fireplace in winter, 2 nice bedrooms and a beautiful garden.

We did not stay at Maison d'Anvers, but they do offer various options of accommodation. The owner Sigi gave us a fantastic and friendly welcome and ran through the food options for the day. They offer a small but interesting menu that clearly changes every day.
We had mussels or tomato and burrata salad followed by tender steaks cooked to perfection or shark steaks - definitely a first - again absolutely delicious - desserts of fresh fruit and a lemon tart to finish. We sat in the courtyard under an olive tree which provided dappled shade from the warm sun.
Sigi was a great host and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our daughter, her husband and baby went back the following week and had an equally enjoyable meal - with Sigi helping out when the baby woke up just as the meal was served, so pushed her in her pram while they ate.
