Towers built by the Romans to protect the village from Saracen invasions from the south-eastern hills.
These three large towers, the highest of which measures 18 m, and the wall were built by the Romans! They protected the village from the Saracen invasions from the hills of the south-east. The present gates are the result of a restoration carried out at the beginning of the 20th century. This imposing construction was used as a stone quarry to build, among other things, the communal school, and perhaps some of the houses in the village. From the esplanade of the ramparts, aim for an extraordinary panorama of the mounts of Vaucluse, the mount Ventoux.
