UPPER COMTAT AERO CLUB
It is the story of a sweet dream... In summer 1956, after having gotten their pilot's licence and completed the construction of a Jodel D 112, Guy Monnier and Georges Bonnefoy took it into their head to build a private takeoff runway. It was 550 metres long and quickly gave rise to the flying club of Haut-Comtat which, since then, has been perpetuating from year to year the passion of its two founders. Today, it is a platform of 17 acres that brings together some 120 pilots for an average of 1,500 hours of annual flight. Licensed pilots, as beginners, it is a good way to discover Enclave des Papes and beyond. From above, the structure of the villages is an obvious way. And the reception meets the challenge there...
