LA CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME-DES-VIGNES
One of the most beautiful Romanesque chapels in the rural Vaucluse, which remains dear to the hearts of the people of Visannais
It is one of the most beautiful Romanesque chapels in rural Vaucluse. It remains dear to the heart of the Visannais because it has the reputation of having protected them from many dangers and in particular from the black plague which raged in the 17th century. Chapel and presbytery are classified by the Historical Monuments. The interior decoration is remarkable. The altarpiece and the tabernacle, sculpted in 1665-1666 by Pierre and Philippe-Antoine, are the major works of furniture.
