Walk to the losses of the Valserine river

This walk from Bellegarde-sur-Valserine is rather atypical. Atypical first because the places are loaded with history: during the Second World War, and more precisely between 1940 and 1942, Valserine was a border office - hence the presence of the customs post at the start of the journey. Then atypical for its landscapes: the river gradually bends beneath the rock, leaves out some waterfalls and sometimes even disappears completely in chasms and crevices; saisissant! Please note, however, if you are accompanied by children: there will be some caution.
