RÉSEAU DÉPARTEMENTAL DE TRANSPORT
The Ain's departmental transportation network is 36 bus lines operated by five different transport companies. The public is mainly school, but the General Council wanted to make it a real tool for sustainable development, with a truly incentive policy. Since the smallest municipalities, the railway stations and the main cities of the department and departments of the border (Lyon, Mâcon, Villefranche…), the network has been purchased with the purchase of a € 2 ticket. The book of 10 tickets is to 15 euros, the monthly subscription to EUR 35, the annual subscription to EUR 350 (250 for those under 26 years) and the service is free for children under 4 years old and the escorts of blind people.
