The Auguste in the center of Bourg-en-Bresse is always a favorite. Terrace on the cobblestones, large bay windows, conviviality and, in the kitchen, two enthusiasts who let us see all the flavors: Laura and Nathalie Cochet. Originally from Aindin, one a chef, the other a pastry chef, they combine 100% homemade traditional dishes, such as Bresse PDO chicken with morel mushroom sauce and seasonal vegetables, with more surprising combinations, like the dessert of lime mousse, lemon ginger cream and candied fennel. A real treat.
