PARC DE LA CHARITÉ
An 8,000 park near the Jean Moulin university campus with 75 trees, nesting boxes and a shared urban orchard.
Formerly belonging to the hospice, this 8,000m2 park behind the Jean Moulin university campus opened to the public in June 2017. It was the site of the launch of the tree charter; it was here then that the first shared urban orchard was created, where all Burgiens can freely come and harvest the fruit. This public garden features 75 trees, bird nesting boxes and insect hotels. It's a haven of peace that students and local residents enjoy in fine weather.
