Nature reserve dedicated to the preservation of one of the last continental marshes in Western Europe, to be discovered in Ceyzérieu.
The Lavours Marsh Nature Reserve was created in 1984 to preserve what is one of the last continental marshes in Western Europe. It can be discovered by walking along a path on stilts. There are two observatories along the way and numerous information panels to help you understand the environment (fauna and flora) that surrounds you. The car park is near the Maison du Marais, at the western entrance to the reserve via Ceyzérieu
