To spend a day or a night on the shores of Lac Genin is to make the most wonderful of journeys. One of the most beautiful lakes in the region, surrounded by a forest of fir trees, a Canadian landscape of striking beauty in every season, and an inn to make the most of it all. A warm welcome and delicious cuisine from Pascale and Denis Godet, the3rd generation to run the place, along with their daughter Charlotte. Traditional cuisine with excellent products: wood-grilled meats or this filet of pink trout. Life is better at the Auberge du lac Genin.

Un petit coin de paradis très préservé. Une famille aux petits soins gentillesse et bienveillance+++ viande au feu de bois(saucisson tournedos...)pâtisserie maison.

Totalement déconnecté, la forêt tout autour, un calme et la détente, c'est tout ce que nous recherchons, l'auberge superbe, le personnel très sympathique et agréable et le restaurant au top ! Nous avons très bien mangé , à recommander, et nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir.

In spite of the power cut the staff managed to create a warm and welcoming ambiance.
Steaks were prepared on the log fire and tasted absolutely amazing. Last minute power enabled chips to accompany the filet and salad.
Stunning scenery both at the Auberge and on the routes to and from the Lac.
