To spend a day or a night on the shores of Lac Genin is to make the most wonderful of journeys. One of the most beautiful lakes in the region, surrounded by a forest of fir trees, a Canadian landscape of striking beauty in every season, and an inn to make the most of it all. A warm welcome and delicious cuisine from Pascale and Denis Godet, the^3rd generation to run the place, along with their daughter Charlotte. Traditional cuisine with excellent products: wood-grilled meats or this filet of pink trout. Life is better at the Auberge du lac Genin.

Vin au verre en apéritif servi dans le même verre que celui du service,croustade aux escargots..6 escargots dans une sauce sans saveur avec un triangle de pâte feuilletée dans un coin,truite pas mauvaise mais les frites se résumaient à un font de sachet surgelé, minuscules est donc grillées, la salade avec une sauce industrielle, ou alors un faut ap6a faire une sauce de salade,et le crumble juste une compote de pomme avec un cramble par dessus .le service aimable pour autant. ..

Really nice authentic restaurant - they cook over the open fire in the dining area. Lovely friendly staff and great food & wine, at a reasonable price. It's a nice walk around the lake - it was frozen when we were there, with a mist rising from it. And we were able to park the motorhome in their carpark for the night. A highlight of our French tour!

endroit superbe l'auberge la nature les plats sont très bons copieux les prix sont raisonnable le service un peu long mais c'est normal le restaurant était bondé a refaire et peut être carrément dormir sur place pour ensuite aller faire une randonnée dans cette belle nature

Très bon emplacement en face d'un petit lac. Bar-Restaurant, la viande grillée au feu de bois à la cheminée qui se trouve dans la salle .Très bien accueilli et très bon service.
