The famous food market which takes place under the Halles all year round, every Saturday morning, brings together some sixty producers on more than 300 metres of stalls. Numerous quality regional products in a very lively fair atmosphere: fish from the Dombes, cheese, poultry (some of which are live), game, meat and charcuterie, fruit and vegetables. This market has been classified at the national level as an "exceptional market" and elected "Most beautiful market in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region" (ranked 6th in France) by a programme on TF1.
