Ferme de la Forêt is an authentic Bresse half-timbered farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with its mysterious Saracen fireplace, timber-framed gallery and lattice balustrade. Listed as a Monument Historique, it bears witness to remarkable ancestral skills. In 2024, after restoration, it will reopen as a showcase for the daily lives of Bressans in the 19th century. From food to building techniques and farming activities, the practices of yesteryear will be put into perspective with the world of today and tomorrow. Hands-on activities along the way will encourage visitors to experience and share.
